Assalamualaikum & good day!
On behalf of our students and faculty staffs, let me welcome you to the official website of Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. This portal will help you obtain information regarding the programmes offered by the Faculty.
Currently, we offer 8 programmes for undergraduate study including a dual-degree programme in Mechatronic Engineering (UMP-HsKA), which is a collaboration with Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HsKA) in German. Besides that, we also offer postgraduate programme (by research) at the Master's and PhD levels and a coursework at the Master's level. Through a balance of rigorous curriculum and experience-based learning, graduates from our program concentration become competent and excellent leaders in the area of manufacturing design, process, system and automation.
We are a vibrant and energetic faculty with 69 academic staffs who are actively involved in teaching and research which are recognized at the national and international levels and 16 administrative and technical staffs. The moderate size of our faculty enables our academicians to work with the students on a one-to-one basis in designing a curriculum and research program to meet their individual needs and interests. This also promotes excellent working relationships between the students and faculty members, and provides a training atmosphere that is often difficult to attain at larger institutions.
